Shimla was Former Summer Capital of India During British Raj. Also known as Queen of Hills. In April you will not find snow in Shimla but its best time to Visit and Explore the area nearby. In April Maximum Temeprature in Shimla will be Approx 20-22*C. So thats the good time to Visit. And Manali is always a Good Summer Destination. You will Find Pleasent weather in Manali with Beautiful view of Snow Capped Mountains. But if the Rain Happened on the same time in These destination you will required some warm clothes also.
