Kaza Village celebrates traditional festivals and events with great enthusiasm and participation from the local community. Some of the key festivals and events include:
Losar (Halda): Celebrated in December–January, this festival marks the Tibetan New Year and is characterized by community bonfires, folk songs, and dance. It is a time for religious activities, prayers, and feasting.
Gochi: This festival celebrates the birth of a son in the previous year and is primarily celebrated in the Bhaga Valley in February. Villagers gather for prayers and festivities that last into the wee hours of the night.
Phagli (Fagli, Kus, or Kuns): Also known as the Festival of Prosperity, Phagli is celebrated in the first half of February and is the most important festival of Pattan Valley. It involves decorating houses, lighting, and cooking delicious dishes.
Basant Panchami: This festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in various temples of Kaza, particularly in the Krishna Temple at Naggar. It is dedicated to Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom.
