No direct flight that you can find and reach the city of Bir. Kangra airport is will be nearest to Bir which is located at a distance of 67 kms. Apart from it, Chandigarh airport, Amritsar airport and New Delhi airport would be around 152 kms, 260 kms and 520 kms respectively.

Frequent bus service are available for Bir that operates on daily basis. From places like Shimla or Dharamshala, you can take shared cabs or taxies on the same route and reach there. According to distance, Dharamshala is around 50 kilometers and Shimla is around 210 kilometers from Bir.

Nearest railway station to Bir is Ahju railway station which is around 3 kilometers away from Bir. it is a small station in the city that don’t provides direct connectivity to other  cities. The nearest broad gauge station is in Pathankot, that is 112 kilometers of distance from the place.

Bir Billing is most famous for aerial sports. The climate is most suitable for paragliding during the months of March to May and October to November.
