Location & Altitude:
Chandratal Lake, also known as the “Lake of the Moon,” is located at an altitude of around 4,300 meters (14,100 feet) in the Lahaul-Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh. How to Reach

From Manali Chandratal can be reached via Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass, followed by a short off-road drive and a trek of around 1–2 km to the lake. From Kaza you can travel via Kunzum Pass to reach Chandratal. The journey involves rough mountain roads, so taxis or bikes are commonly used.
