Khajjiar is definitely worth visiting, but it depends on what you expect; it’s not a place with lots of activities, instead it’s more about the scenic beauty, open meadow, and peaceful vibe surrounded by deodar forests, which makes it feel very relaxing and different from crowded hill spots. If you enjoy nature, slow walks, and just sitting and enjoying views, you’ll really like it, otherwise it might feel a bit simple. You can easily spend around 2–3 hours there comfortably, which is enough to explore the area, take photos, and relax, so it fits perfectly as a half-day trip from Dalhousie without feeling rushed.
