Yes, you can take your private car to Leh via Manali if it’s a 4-wheel-drive vehicle and in good condition. Whenever you are traveling on this highway, make sure that your car is maintained. You can drive your private cars from Manali to Leh and inside Ladakh. But self-drive cars are generally not available so far.
