Himachal’s mountains don’t just touch the sky—they cradle the living energy of the Divine Mother. Each temple on this pilgrimage marks where Goddess Sati’s sacred fragments fell, pulsating with millennia of prayers:
Traverse the legendary Shaktipeeths, born from the fragments of Goddess Sati, where every temple resonates with millennia of faith: – Witness the ethereal blue flame of Jwalamukhi, where the Goddess’s tongue is said to rest. – Seek solace at Naina Devi, perched serenely atop a hill, its name echoing the myth of Mata Sati’s eyes (Naina). – Marvel at the golden spire of Vajreshwari Devi Temple, a symbol of unyielding strength in Kangra. – Feel the primal energy of Chamunda Devi, guardian of the Chamba Valley, where spirituality meets the wild. – Surrender to the boundless compassion of Mata Chintpurni, the “reliever of worries,” in the foothills of Una.
Let the mountains guide you to the Divine. With Planmans’, every darshan becomes a moment of grace, and every mile a step closer to the sacred.
Let Planman’s Group guide you through a pilgrimage where every step is a prayer and every vista a blessing. 🕉️🏔️
Morning: Depart Chandigarh at dawn for the mist-kissed hills of Shaktipeeth Naina Devi (Bilaspur). Ascend via stairs or cable car to seek the Goddess's blessings and take in the panoramic views of Govind Sagar Lake.
Breakfast: Relish traditional Himachali aloo parathas with mint chutney and local honey.
Afternoon: Drive through Una’s terraced farmlands to Shri Mata Chintpurni Temple (the "Reliever of Worries").
Lunch: Stop at a village dhaba for a simple meal—highly recommend trying madra (yogurt-based curry) or siddu (steamed bread).
Evening: Arrive at Chintpurni for the serene evening aarti. Witness the temple's golden glow as hymns are chanted. Check into a nearby guesthouse (such as Shri Chintpurni Bhawan).
Dinner: Unwind with herbal tea and a quiet dinner.
Morning: Start with sunrise prayers at Chintpurni Temple. After breakfast, drive to Bankhandi’s Baglamukhi Temple, where the Goddess is worshipped as the "Crusher of Evil," and experience the fierce energy of its yellow-themed sanctum.
Afternoon: Journey to Jwalamukhi Temple to witness the Divine Mother’s tongue manifesting as an eternal blue flame that has burned without fuel for centuries. Attend the fiery midday aarti.
Lunch: Eat at the temple’s bhojanalaya for a satvik thali featuring kadhi, rice, and seasonal veggies.
Late Afternoon/Evening: Drive to Kangra for Brajeshwari Mata Darshan, then head up to Dharamshala. Check into a hotel with mountain views.
Dinner & Leisure: Stroll through McLeod Ganj’s bustling markets, relax with Tibetan butter tea, and grab dinner at a cozy café (try thukpa or momos).
Morning: Following breakfast, visit the Chamunda Devi Temple, nestled in the rugged Dhauladhar foothills. Take time to explore the nearby riverbank or meditate under the ancient trees near the powerful black-stone idol.
Afternoon: Begin your return drive to Chandigarh.
Optional Detour: Visit the Kangra Art Museum en route to glimpse Himachal’s cultural heritage.
Lunch: Stop at a hillside dhaba to savor rajma-chawal or pahadi trout.
Evening: Arrive in Chandigarh by sunset, bringing home blessings from five Shaktipeeths.
