Day 01 Shimla to Sarahan

Drive to Sarahan, a beautiful village known for Bhimakali Temple. Visit the Bhimakali Temple and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Overnight stay in Sarahan.

Day 02 Sarahan to Sangla

Embark on a picturesque drive from Sarahan to Sangla, taking about 3-4 hours. Explore Kamru Fort, a historical fort with stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Visit Kamru Village to witness the local way of life and interact with the residents. Overnight stay in Sangla, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic beauty.

Day 03 Sangla to Kalpa

Drive from Sangla to Kalpa, covering a distance of around 40 km in approximately 2 hours. Day 04 Kalpa to Tabo

Journey from Kalpa to Tabo, covering a distance of approximately 150 km in 3 - 4 hours. Visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, known for its exquisite murals that depict Buddhist art and culture. Explore the Tabo village and witness the unique architectural features of the region. Overnight stay in Tabo, immersing yourself in the spirituality of this ancient settlement.

Day 05 Tabo to Kaza

Drive from Tabo to Kaza, a journey of around 50 km taking 1 - 2 hours. Explore the iconic Ki Monastery, perched on a hill, and discover the charming Kibber Village. Experience the high-altitude desert landscape surrounding Kaza. Overnight stay in Kaza, the largest town in Spiti Valley.

Day 06 Excursion to Key Monastery and Kibber Village

Full day excursion to Key Monastery and Kibber Village. Visit the Key Monastery and explore the high-altitude village of Kibber. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.

Day 07 Kaza to Shimla

Really enjoyed the Shimla to Spiti route because scenery kept changing every day. Kalpa stay had amazing mountain view and Kaza hotel was better than expected. Our driver was experienced on narrow roads and the coordination from Planmans side was quite smooth during the whole trip.

Did this Spiti trip with 3 friends and route via Shimla was actually good because altitude increased slowly. Kalpa hotel had direct mountain view and Kaza stay was decent considering how remote the place is. Roads after Tabo were rough at few spots but driver handled it very calmly. One day hot water issue happened in the morning but it got fixed later. Planmans coordination was good throughout and they kept checking during the journey.
