Tour itinerary Plan

Day 1 Arrival in Leh

Arrive in Leh and take it easy to acclimatize to the high altitude. Rest and drink plenty of fluids to combat the effects of altitude.

Day 2 Leh Local Sightseeing

Visit Shanti Stupa, a beautiful Buddhist white-domed stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh. Explore Leh Palace, a former royal palace and a perfect vantage point to witness the city's beauty. Stroll through the local markets and buy traditional Ladakhi handicrafts.

Day 3 Excursion to Sham Valley

Drive to the picturesque Sham Valley and visit Likir and Alchi monasteries, known for their ancient murals and artifacts. En route, stop at Magnetic Hill and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.

Day 4 Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Head to Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Visit Diskit Monastery and the giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Enjoy the stunning landscapes of Nubra Valley, characterized by sand dunes and double-humped camels.

Day 5 Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Drive to the famous Pangong Lake, crossing Chang La, another high-altitude pass. Spend the evening admiring the changing colors of the lake as the sun sets.

Day 6 Pangong Lake to Leh

Wake up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise over Pangong Lake. Return to Leh and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring more of the city.

Day 7 Leh to Tso Moriri Lake

Travel to Tso Moriri, a stunning high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. En route, visit Chumathang hot springs and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region.

Day 8 Tso Moriri to Leh

Spend some more time at Tso Moriri, soaking in the serene surroundings. Return to Leh and use the evening for some last-minute shopping or relaxation.

Day 9 Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery

Visit Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. Explore Thiksey Monastery, which resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. If time permits, you can also visit Shey Palace and the nearby Stok Palace.

Day 10 Departure from Leh
