It is a high altitude lake that is situated at height of 3,960 m and is 45 km from the Chamba main town. The name ‘Lama Dal’ translates into long lake in colloquial language and is quite scared to Lord Shiva. It is the largest lake among group of 7 lakes that lie in the breathtaking Dhauladhar Range.
